According to the FBI, the “black identity extremist” movement members who fight against law enforcement brutality against African Americans are going a step further by conducting premeditated lethal violence against law enforcement, especially during protests. However, the FBI reverting to surveillance shows their determination to sabotage black activism by having a solution of treating all of them as potential threats.

Moreover, with the FBI working with “Joint Terrorism Task Forces,” it helps them join agents together with officers from federal, local, and state law enforcement agencies.
