Discussion Thread 2 Early and Late Onset Puberty

                                               Question #1

The TV show “Sex Education” shows that adolescence is a period where individuals undergo heightened stress due to the many changes occurring to them, including the physical changes, peer interactions, and drive for independence, and they are likely to turn to their peers and close people. It portrays this especially through Otis, who has little knowledge about sex but gets guidance from his close friend and mother, a sex therapist. This is consistent with the information in the chapter because family support and peer support are crucial in adolescence.

                                                Question #2

There is a positive relationship between adolescents’ willingness to open up about their teenage sexuality and parents’ support. Parental support is the independent variable, while the willingness of the adolescents to open up about their teenage sexuality is the dependent variable. The confounding variable is the parent’s attitude towards their adolescents. Quantitative research, particularly interviews, questionnaires, and surveys, is the best in testing a hypothesis because they determine how adolescents subjectively feel about their parents. ……………for help with this assignment contact us via email Address: consulttutor10@gmail.com
