Solution
Comparing Pre-Columbian Civilizations
Before the invasion of the Conquistadors in the 16th Century, Maya, Aztec, and Inca were great empires. Maya and Aztec lived in what is now Mexico, while the Inca were based much further south in what is now Chile and Peru. All three civilizations were great, but they had various similarities and differences.
In agriculture, Maya, Aztec, and Inca relied more on growing crops and less on keeping domestic animals. Cultivation was the main agricultural activity for all. Moreover, maize was the principal crop in all civilizations. For instance, the Maya cleared forests to create and prepare the land for cultivation. The Aztec diet contained more vegetables and fruits and fewer animal products. Although the land was community-owned, each family was given part of the land to cultivate. To increase cultivation, like in Maya, Aztecs also developed Chiampa to help in growing crops that covered the larger part of the Chalco-Xochimilco basin…………for help with this or any other assignment contact us via Email Address: consulttutor10@gmail.com
